We want to talk about the famous coach Pep Guardiola. He was born on the 18 January 1971 in Santpedor. In 1984 he joined La Masia, and there he met a lot of famous players of the history of FCB, Carles Puyol, Xavi Hernàndez, John Cruiff,... 6 years laterhe made his début. From 1991 to 1992 he became a first team regular. On 24 June 2001, he played his last match with Barça ant the audience acclamed him. He played 479 games for the FCB. He's one of the players that played more matches with the club. From 1995 to 2005 he played seven friendly games for the national team of Catalonia. These games are used to collect a lot of money for the people with cancer. 3 years later, in June, Guariola was apponited coach of FCBarcelona B. Only a year later, he became manager of FCBarcelona A, and there he won six trophies. This six trophies are very difficult to win.
In June 2012 he left FCB and he took a sabbatical yeari in NY, but when he left the club, he said: "I will return, my heart will always be there".
He signed a contract with Bayern Munich in 2013 and he has been in this club for 3 years. Now, hi is living in Germany.
It is believed that Guardiola will move to Manchester City next year.
